Learn To Skate Classes
Our “Learn To Skate” programs are designed for those just starting their skating journey. Hartland and Brighton classes include Snowplow Sam (ages 6 and under), Basic Skills (ages 6+), Adult Classes (ages 18+), and Hockey courses.

Harmony Theatre Company is a competitive Theatre On Ice team operating under Ice House Skating Academy in Hartland, MI. This art form combines the grace of figure skating with the excitement of theater story-telling and dance.

Figure Skating Club for Hartland and Brighton, Michigan
Founded in 2005, Ice House Skating Academy is the figure skating club for Kensington Valley Ice House in Brighton, Michigan and Hartland Ice House (Hartland Sports Center) in Hartland, Michigan. Ice House Skating Academy is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. From basic skills for skaters 6 and under to competitive figure skaters, our goal is provide a safe and extraordinary experience for every one of our members. We offer ice skating lessons to kids of all ages and levels— adult skating classes too!
We welcome all levels of skaters at any time throughout the year, and pride ourselves on making our Learn To Skate Basic Skills members part of the Ice House SA family. Ice House SA offers different levels of membership to suit your needs and budget including Introductory, 2nd Club, and more. Ice House Skating Academy is a member of US Figure Skating. Our skaters pursue a number of different disciplines, as it is a goal of our club to foster all paths and forms of figure skating.
