This committee shall be responsible for ensuring that new/guest members feel welcome, receive information to increase their knowledge and keep them interested in continuing to skate. This committee is responsible for engaging new skaters to involve them so they might continue to skate as IHSA club members.

This committee shall be responsible for coordinating location/decoration-entertainment/food/beverage for “social” events that happen during the year. These events include: test sessions, guest coach presence, send off parties, Christmas show party, Ice show cast party, and the annual banquet.

This committee shall be responsible for representing our Club in a positive way to all types of media. This includes website, Facebook page, as well as communication with various media and publicity forums. This committee shall be responsible for planning, content and initiating publicity events.

This committee shall be responsible for creating awareness in the Club of our members’ achievements, as well as incentivizing others. This includes responsibility for managing recognition banners, creating a recognition “wall” at HIH, recommending to the Board recognition events/gifts to send off competitive skaters.

Established in 2017, this committee shall be responsible for the planning and execution of events that promote fellowship and positivity among our skaters. The committee consists of 2 elementary members, 2 middle school members, 2 high school members, and overseen by a board member chairperson. The committee receives a yearly stipend from the operating budget to minimize or eliminate event costs to the membership.
